ABOUT
Logan Dickson
HER STORY
Logan Dickson began riding and competing in 2006 at the age of seven under the guidance of Jeffrey Taylor, a Canadian Olympic long-list rider. From an early age, she developed a deep passion for horses and horsemanship, receiving her first pony at eight years old. Within just a few years, Logan progressed to a three-year-old off-the-track Thoroughbred (OTTB), which she successfully trained and competed through the eventing levels.
As a competitor, Logan has successfully competed through the Intermediate level of eventing and is currently preparing to move up to the three-star (3*) level during the 2026 season. In addition to her equestrian career, Logan is a Registered Nurse at Riverside Methodist Hospital, bringing the same dedication, discipline, and compassion to her work both in and out of the saddle.
Logan is deeply committed to education and mentorship within the equestrian community and is passionate about inspiring and guiding the next generation of riders.

Throughout her formative years, Logan was afforded exceptional opportunities to develop advanced training skills rarely available to young riders. These experiences laid the foundation for her thoughtful, horse-centered approach to training and competition.
Today, Logan continues to refine her expertise by starting and producing young horses , while also playing an integral role in the training and development of privately owned horses.
Logan has extensive experience coaching riders of all ages and abilities, from young beginners to adult amateurs, ranging in age from four to seventy-five (that's you Tim). She takes great pride in helping riders build confidence, achieve their goals, and develop a strong, respectful partnership with horses.

CAnnonshot (CAnnon)
His True Story
Cannon’s story began with my best friend, Jenny, who purchased him as a three-year-old without even seeing him ridden. She looked at him standing in his stall and simply knew. From that moment on, he was hers — and she was right. Ironically, they even shared the same birthday. It felt like fate from the start.
With the guidance of our trainer, Jenny thoughtfully developed Cannon as a young horse, giving him a correct and confident foundation. As my friendship with Jenny grew, so did my opportunities with Cannon. Knowing I didn’t have the financial resources at that time to bring along an upper-level horse of my own, Jenny slowly began to let me ride him. What started as the occasional ride turned into us alternating shows, each taking turns helping him gain mileage and experience.
In May of 2024, Jenny was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer. During that time, I stepped into Cannon’s program full-time. Although Jenny wasn’t able to ride as much as she wanted, she never stopped being his biggest fan — and mine. She stood beside us as our loudest cheerleader, supporting every milestone and celebrating every success.
With Cannon, I completed first Training Level and continued climbing all the way to the CCI2*/Intermediate level. He has been my teacher in every sense of the word. Through him, I have learned patience, resilience, feel, timing, and the kind of partnership that cannot be forced — only earned.
After Jenny passed in July of 2025, Cannon officially became Logan's according to her wishes. It is an honor she does not take lightly.

"I am so deeply grateful to care for a horse so special, who was loved so fiercely by an even more special person.
Cannon and I are still writing our story. I don’t have a specific level in mind that we must reach — my goal is simple: to go as far as he is willing to take me. Every ride on him is a gift, and every opportunity we have is a tribute to the friendship and belief that started it all."
